Organic fruit and veg delivery
Where does the veg come from?

Many of The Farmshed’s vegetables are sourced from our partner, Duncan Gielty at Lyncroft Farm, Aughton Lancashire.

Duncan’s dad Alf started growing organically at Lyncroft in 1978, two years after Duncan was born. The same year Alf bought the 1973 David Brown 885 tractor shown in the picture that Duncan still uses to this day... In fact Duncan thinks the tractor is actually in better condition than he is!

Alf decided to grow organically because he was convinced pesticides had led to Duncan being slightly hyperactive as a child... Duncan has now eaten organically for 30 years and can’t blame his diet any more!

Duncan grows a large variety of vegetables, including his famous bunched carrots, sweet cherry tomatoes, beetroot, lettuce, cabbage (many different varieties),  and some more out of the ordinary vegetables like Kohl Rabi and Mooli... To be honest you name it Duncan grows it!
